It's Christmas 1932 at Mortlake Abbey in Berkshire, England. Sir Roderick Ponsonby is famous for his colourful lifestyle and wonderful parties. For this Christmas he's sparing no expense on inviting all his eccentric friends (and their friends) for a celebration like no other. Also attending is his old school chum, the famous sleuth Lord Peter Irony and perhaps for once his Lordship's razor sharp detective skills won't be needed? However, one guest doesn't share the Christmas spirit as they have An Appetite For Murder!
